ServeZip 1.0

ServeZip is a free, simple, and high-quality alternative to ZIP and RAR archive files. FZ archive files use LZMA compression algorithms, and support high compression ratios without producing any damage to the original files. ServeZip also encrypts your files using its own 256-bit AES encryption routines, and can connect you with FileServe to upload your archive files easily. ServeZip can also open most of the archive and image files we all know and love, such as ARJ, CAB, ISO, MSI, RAR, UDF, and 7Z, among many others.

Closely connected with FileServe (a well-known online storage and file upload service), ServeZip allows you to compress, encrypt, and upload your files to your FileServe account all in one single operation (its built-in upload manager will keep you clearly informed of your upload progress). You will then be provided with a link to all the URLs of the uploaded files, allowing you to start sharing them with your friends and colleagues almost immediately.

ServeZip is the official tool used to produce FZ archive files, a new compression format that is now widely accepted. This open architecture archive format produces excellent results even with extremely large files, offering high compression ratios combined with strong encryption algorithms. The LZMA compression method used supports multi-threading, allowing your computer to compress up to 1 MB per second (in a 2 GHz CPU). It is completely free, so there is no reason not to give it a try.
